For these animals, the name ‘little penguins’ is the right choice as they are the smallest penguin species in the world. They stand at an average height of 33 centimeters and weigh just around 1 kg.
Those cute animals should waddle into your heart with beautiful dark blue feathers on your back, white feathers on your chest, and pink feet. The only time these creatures move to land is at night, and spend the rest of their time in the sea looking for food. They lodge along the coast, then return to rest in their nests.

Seal Rocks, on the west end of the island, hosts Australia’s largest fur seal colony.
